My History With Instagram

Instagram is a well-known photo and video sharing social networking platform.  After using the social media platform for almost a decade, I now have an immense amount of experience using it.  I have been known to spend hours a day on the app, then life catches up, giving me only moments to scan.  There is a scientific algorithm that tracks this type of usage and data.  Factors that play a role on your account’s success are a product of all this data.  Influencers who dominate the platform strategically outgrow the people with less followers.  My blog was created to reveal the necessary tips to grow and expand your account.  Following them will ultimately grow your platform and bring you success.

Since its release in 2010, several updates have been made to the app; however, not all of the changes were appreciated.  Eliminating the chronological feature, which allowed you to see content easier, now created an algorithm that restricts what you see by pushing the “best” posts higher on your feed, typically influencers, while pushing the “worst” posts get pushed lower on your feed, which is normally low followed account.  This algorithm has also led to many accounts losing engagement, specifically companies.  This algorithm is always changing and can be confusing/difficult to understand at times.  I sigh every time I see a new update notification because I know it is time for everyone to navigate the algorithm all over again.  Instagram has launched many new features, designed to help users boost their engagement (stories, live stories, reels) to make up for the difficulty; however,  these features have left users more confused.  The algorithm is now ten times more difficult and with all all the new features, with my social media marketing program, you will get ahead.
